MG MGA - '72 MGB engine/tranny in a '56 MGA

Does anyone have experience w/ this setup? I have no choice as that is what the car had, though installed improperly and unsafely w/no tranny mounting. Has anyone used the "British Automotive" (www.mgbmga.com) mounting kit, MGA/BRKT?
Thank you,

Jim- I'm in the middle of same thing, except its a "fairly-pizzazzed" 1800 with a 79 OD. I'm using the tunnel cut from that 79 on the 58 MGA to get the OD all in, and going to a shortened MGB rear axle for the skinnier MGA rear. Did the D(?) PO cut off the stock mount? I have two extra MGA 1500 engine complete and stock trans with them if you want for a song and thankyou. Anyway, It's been my experience everything Doug Jackson sells is top cabin. I became one of his first composite spring customers 4-5 years ago and ended up with 3 sets and yards of testimony to others. Doug built my current 71 MGB cross flow punched 60 with Ford Sierra 5-speed. A man of his word, he stands behind it all and is always willing to profer a sage tidbit. I'd use his fiberglass tunnel as well if you go that route. Vic
