MG MGA - clip for water temp gauge

I have a clip from Moss, #281-920, that is used to secure the water temp gauge cable. It is a 2 piece clip, with a single hole to mount to something. Does it go somewhere on the bulkhead, or is it located under the dash?

He are 3 pictures showing the clips on my LHD MkII roadsters. Two double clips for temp and oil pressure lines. One behind dash, one on right side of heater shelf. Then a single clip on forward edge of heater shelf roughly above distributor.
