MG MGA - Gear knob..??

Bought a Metal gear knob for my "A", But am not sure it's marked correctly..

Is it Reverse, 1st then second, Third then fourth ..

or 1 -2/ 3-4 then reverse ???

Standard MGA has reverse far left and back.

That would probably be for a midget/Sprite or Mini.

Should confuse the MoT tester!
