MG MGA - MGA 'Groupeez'
My Coupe was just used for a photo shoot for a music magazine called Groupeez. It featured a *very* attractive young woman. They were also shooting in a 1964 SAAB, so it will be interesting to see which car makes it into the magazine. If and when the issue comes out I'll try to post a link or at least a few pictures. Originally they were just supposed to shoot in the SAAB but saw the MG parked nearby and asked if they could use it.

What, no behind the scenes photos? :)

For those that follow such things, I saw a movie over the weekend - "The wedding using wedding cars tunbridge wells Date" (wife's pick!) and near the end there is a brief shot of a white MGA heading off down an English country road. Looks like a Mark II from the taillights. A nice black Austin Healy gets a bit more screen time.
Tom Heath
Besides the Elvis movie Blue Hawaii where he drove an MGA what others movies have our favorite car in them. I saw the MK11 in The Wedding Date also.
R J Brown
It's brief but perhaps the best MGA cameo is in the Mexican wrestling hero film "Santo and the Invasion from Mars." I think the white MGA also has the power to fly...
Jim Paul
In the movie Cool Runnings with John Candy, the rich kid's prize possession is a red MGA which he sells to fund the bobsled team's trip to the Olympics. I wonder how much coin an MGA is worth in Jamaica?

In a credit card commercial Seinfeld is shown driving into a filling station in a black MGA.
John Progess
and of course there's the yellow roadster in Animal House. I won't comment on the details of the scene... but it's a great laugh!
