MG MGB Technical - EBD Exhaust Manifold (+15BHP!?)
| Hello everyone, I searched the archives however found nothing…as I have heard quite a bit about this EBD Exhaust Manifold. Currently I have an MS Daytona and the obligatory K&N 57i on a VVC - it's quite fast particularly in the VVC zone of 4.5K - 7.1K revs however as a true MG enthusiast I am always looking for more power :) I was considering forced induction however it is very costly… Therefore what’s the story about this manifold? I heard that Mike S was looking to design one soon offering an additional 15BHP?! Whilst on the ramps recently, I also noticed that the existing one is a rather poor Rover effort. :( Has anyone had this fitted and what sort of difference on the rollers does it make... from past experience I believe that a 4-1 manifold offers better high up torque/power whereas a 4-2-1 offers a better torque spread. I’d be interested in hearing from anyone that’s had one fitted to the MGF or Elise and about any roller results… Cheers Richie |

| You probably meant to post this on the MGF board, but 158 hp sounds good to me. |
