MG MGB Technical - fuel pump ticks with turn signal
| My son & I are just finishing up a full resto on his 75 mgb. During final check over, I noticed that the fuel pump ticks every time the turn signal flashes. The fuel pump is a moprod electronic look alike to the S.U. pump. The only common wiring with both is the ground wire system. After checking the diagrams, and tracing the wiring, I find No problems. It doesn't seem to hurt the running of the car, or the turn signal system, but it doesn't seem right. Any advise or help would be appreciated. |

| Peter - It would appear that you have a bad ground. Try lifting the ground lug and sanding the surface under it down to shinny metal and then coat it with a conductive grease such as Kopr-Cote by Betts & Thomas. This is available at any electrical outlet. Good luck - Dave |
